Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are looking for a driven and seasoned Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This position presents the opportunity to oversee project initiatives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical engineering services to meet client objectives.
  • Guide and assist Engineers-in-Training (EITs), designers, and technical personnel in engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to determine project scope, complexity, scheduling, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate work assignments for efficient workload distribution and project completion.
  • Ensure engineering and design outputs meet quality standards, codes, ordinances, and project needs.
  • Check and uphold accuracy and completeness of engineering and drafting work, adhering to project timelines.
  • Provide technical advice, training, and mentorship for team development and performance improvement.
  • Cultivate a cooperative work environment while being a valuable resource for clients and team members.
  • Supervise the technical work of designers and technicians.
  • Support personnel functions including performance reviews and staff development initiatives.
  • Assist senior engineering leadership in achieving office objectives and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an Arizona Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • At least 6 years of civil engineering design experience, with a preference for land development or transportation and drainage projects
  • Solid technical expertise in civil engineering design principles and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Effective decision-making, budget management, and client relationship skills
  • Proven experience leading teams and supporting staff development
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and collaborative professional
