Your Role with the Organization
In the position of Smart Building Solutions Architect, you will act as the key connection between customers, sales, and engineering teams—developing integrated solutions that bring modern buildings to life.
You will directly engage with corporate clients to comprehend their requirements and design end-to-end smart building ecosystems that merge building automation, energy management, lighting, security, and existing systems into seamless, high-performing environments.
This role combines technical architecture, customer interaction, and strategic influence. You will shape solution design, steer technical direction, and aid in translating complex building technologies into practical, scalable solutions. With visibility across various industries and projects, this role empowers you to shape how future buildings are designed, connected, and optimized.
Experience and Qualifications
Proficiency in building automation systems (BAS), smart building technologies, and system integration
5+ years of experience in smart buildings, IoT-based facility management, or building systems engineering
Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management systems, including cross-platform integration
Working knowledge of BMS platforms, cloud-based building management solutions, and integration protocols
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Additional Job Specifics
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 (Bonus 10%)
Location: Remote
Type of Role: Full-time, Direct Hire
Travel Required: Yes-Primarily East Coast
