In this role, you will be tasked with creating and evaluating mechanical designs for projects within a specialized manufacturing unit that focuses on innovative solutions for conveyor systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a minimum of three years of experience in mechanical design
• Minimum three years of experience as an estimator is required

· Experience with CADD software ranging from two to five years is necessary

· Preferential experience with Ross ERP & Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects
• Creativity is essential for generating and enhancing product ideas to meet quality standards and customer cost expectations
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and meet customer requirements
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and costs.

• Knowledge of Ross ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software
• Proficient in math, science, and computer skills
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Illustrator

· Thorough understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances

• A team-player mindset with the ability to self-motivate, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to sit for extended periods while performing job duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reviewing Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and creating accurate cost estimates and detailed drawings

· Updating drawings using AutoCAD or Illustrator

· Analyzing labor, materials, and equipment requirements through detailed drawings

· Collaborating with the Purchasing Department for accurate pricing

· Presenting estimates to stakeholders with detailed information
