Job Title: Physician Infectious Disease outpatient healthcare center and wellness clinic
Location: Greater Jacksonville, FL area
Salary Compensation: $290,000 - $320,000 comp before productivity bonus; approximate comp. after productivity bonus is $314,000 - $464,000K (15-20 visits per day); Comp includes base salary + Sign bonus + Quarterly bonus + Retention bonus + Patient visits productivity bi-weekly bonuses + 401K + Full robust benefits package. Relocation bonus if required.

Job Description – Physician Infectious Disease Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician
Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic is looking for a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for our outpatient facility. Join our dedicated team serving the community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Infectious Disease Physicians provide quality care, meet productivity standards, and collaborate for patient welfare. Accommodations available for disabilities.
- Manage at least 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 in a half-day). Adjust targets for longer shifts.
- Oversee scheduling to reduce no-shows and meet productivity goals.
- Complete documentation same day or within 72 hours, with accurate billing codes.
- Provide primary care for chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes) and acute issues (e.g., burns, infections).
- Collaborate with front desk, coordinators, and nursing team for urgent care.
- Review consultant reports and lab results promptly.
- Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
- Monitor and respond to voicemails and emails daily.
- Support patient retention by preparing summaries.
- Supervise mid-level providers and review charts as needed.
- Provide after-hours coverage when assigned.
- Maintain AAHIVM certification and receive administrative time weekly.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with valid licenses and certifications.
- Outpatient primary care experience and patient management skills.
- AAHIVM Certification and CPR/BLS required.
Education & Skills
- Doctorate (M.D. or D.O.); strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Ability to interpret clinical information and apply analytical skills.
- Proficiency in mathematical and reasoning abilities for clinical decision-making.
