Primary Duties
Quoting Responsibilities: Prepare and manage accurate quotes for industrial products and customized solutions.
Customer Engagement: Handle incoming inquiries, offer expert product guidance, pricing details, and order assistance.
Collaboration with Suppliers: Maintain close communication with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
Team Support: Provide guidance to junior sales reps and cooperate with external sales teams on key accounts.
Data Management: Record accurate customer and quote information using internal systems (experience with Epicor software is desirable).
Requirements
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in industrial distribution sectors like MRO, electrical, automation, fluid power, or mechanical products.
Technical Skills: Demonstrate ability to create technical quotes in a B2B setting, interpret technical drawings, and diagrams.
Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, strong math proficiency, and familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Mindset: Positive attitude, sense of urgency, ability to multitask independently, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements: High School diploma, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and a valid driver's license.
