Key Responsibilities:

The Shift Lead Plant Operator is in charge of overseeing the daily operations of the facility. They will be responsible for executing the Operating Plan and identifying areas for improvement to ensure the facility's success. Safety, environmental compliance, and revenue generation are key aspects of this role.

Main Duties:

· Ensure a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

· Supervise and develop Plant Operators to meet operational targets.

· Set priorities for maintenance activities.

· Maximize electrical outputs in line with requirements.

· Oversee all operational activities, utilizing operational data for optimization.

· Report plant conditions to management promptly and take necessary action.

· Review operational data and take corrective action as needed.

· Handle HR issues and maintenance guidance.

· Maintain environmental compliance and oversee operational training.

Experience & Skills

· A minimum of five years of power plant experience is required.

· Formal training and gas turbine experience are highly valued.

· Must be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and be on call as needed.

Candidates must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug test.
