Role Summary
As the Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer, your responsibilities will involve creating and coordinating detailed BIM models and plans for electrical and mechanical systems within intricate power distribution projects.
You will be a crucial link between engineering, project management, clients, and manufacturing to ensure precise and feasible designs for production and installation.
This position is not confined to desk-based design work, as you will be actively engaged in problem-solving and supporting projects throughout the design-to-delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and coordinate Revit-based models for electrical and mechanical systems
• Prepare layouts, schematics, and detailed design documentation
• Collaborate across various teams to address design issues
• Provide support throughout the project implementation process
• Integrate design changes and updates into models
• Ensure designs adhere to codes, standards, and project requirements
• Engage with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility

Qualifications
• 2–7 years of experience in BIM, MEP, or design engineering roles
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (mandatory)

• Ability to interpret 2D drawings and construction documents
• Expertise in coordinating MEP systems with BIM
• Familiarity with tools like Navisworks is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions
