Lead Software Developer
We are seeking a talented Lead Software Developer for a national retail and services organization located in Chicago, IL that is in the process of modernizing its enterprise technology platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in C#/.NET software development as well as advanced knowledge of SQL Server and data integration processes.
This is a virtual role with a preference for individuals based in the Eastern or Central time zones, specifically in Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, or Georgia.

The primary focus of this role will involve revamping the company's ETL infrastructure while creating .NET 8 microservices for essential business applications. As the modernization project progresses, the role will transition towards developing new applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise applications, REST APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET 8
- Create intricate T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
- Aid in migrating enterprise integrations from Informatica to SnapLogic
- Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems
- Utilize tools such as Kafka, Dapper, GitHub CI/CD, Jira, and Kubernetes
- Take ownership of projects from requirements analysis to deployment
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in enterprise development with C# and .NET
- Advanced expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL
- Proficiency in developing microservices and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with ETL or enterprise data integration
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with SnapLogic, Informatica, Kafka, Salesforce integrations, or Kubernetes is a plus
