Role Overview

• Assist in the creation and development of seasonal outfit collections for the Walmart Big Girls licensed line
• Conduct research on current style, color, artwork, and market trends relevant to the target audience
• Generate and maintain outfit designs, color schemes, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Work closely with Lead Designers, Illustrators, Merchandisers, and Product Development teams
• Aid in the evolution of design concepts that adhere to brand standards, store requirements, and seasonal fashions
• Evaluate samples and offer design input throughout the development phase
• Keep design files, artwork, and seasonal project details organized and up-to-date
• Support in obtaining approvals and making revisions to guarantee designs meet brand and consumer expectations

Requirements

• At least 2 years of background in outfit design, preferably with a focus on kids' or retail garments
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software
• Solid grasp of fashion trends, color schemes, artwork, and outfit construction
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Adept at handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting
• Experience in licensed outfit design is a bonus
• Must reside in New York City
• Position is mainly in-person with some flexibility for remote work on Fridays
