As a Plant Cost Analyst, you will support Operations with financial insights in line with company standards. Responsibilities include monthly closings, variance analysis, annual planning, and ad hoc analysis.

This role will serve as a trusted partner to plant leadership and all functions within the facility. It is a pivotal position within the plant and with company leadership beyond.

• Act as a reliable partner to Plant Leadership.
• Provide data-driven insights to enhance team performance and goals.
• Monitor and report actual performance against plans, forecasts, and standards.
• Analyze spending patterns and headcount, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare monthly closing entries accurately.
• Generate monthly financial statements and analytics.
• Assist in creating the annual plan and interim projections.
• Ensure standard costs are accurately reflected.
• Enhance financial analysis processes.
• Make expense vs. Capital decisions in accordance with GAAP.
• Offer financial guidance and validation on Plant Cost Savings efforts.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and audits.
• Ensure inventory reflects GAAP standards and reserves are kept.
• Act as the Finance Team representative in plant meetings.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Familiarity with standard cost valuation.
• Experience in cost accounting within ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
