Financial Manager
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and strategic Financial Manager to become a part of our client's leadership group. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of all financial information, working closely with local and executive management to assess performance and steer business strategy. Additionally, you will be leading efforts to enhance inventory management, streamline financial reporting processes, and develop analytical tools.
Responsibilities
Controls & Compliance: Manage, document, and routinely assess effective internal controls. Enforce strict adherence to corporate guidelines, including capital expenditures, asset protection, transaction approvals, and expense claims.
Financial Data & Precision: Validate the integrity and completeness of financial transactions through thorough reconciliation, reviews, and advanced analytical methods.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely monthly and yearly financial forecasts. Present findings in full compliance with corporate and divisional standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and department heads to analyze financial outcomes, pinpoint crucial operational metrics, and create actionable business plans.
Leadership: Supervise, guide, and nurture the professional growth of all accounting department employees through regular, hands-on engagement.
Process Enhancement: Establish new analytical tools and actively engage in company-wide projects to improve inventory management and financial systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Necessary:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (4-year)
Active CPA certification
At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred:
Background in public accounting
Prior supervisory or management experience
Hands-on involvement with physical inventory management and inventory accounting
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting frameworks and internal control implementation
