This Construction Firm in Nashville TN is a local general contractor specializing in multifamily construction projects. With over 40 years of experience, we prioritize career development and innovation in the construction industry.

Our focus is on multifamily new developments, including student housing, garden-style apartments, podium wraps, and mid-rise structures. Projects often exceed $40 million, and we are seeking an estimator to work on all stages from initial concept to bid package preparation.

Our estimating process involves project concept review, quantity take-offs, subcontractor and supplier solicitation, scope qualification, and final pricing review with clients.

We are currently looking for an Estimator to join our Nashville office. Responsibilities include:

The Senior Estimator will:

• Manage the bid process, including risk assessment, quantity surveying, pricing, scheduling, bid solicitation, and final bid assembly.
• Oversee estimates for multifamily new construction projects.
• Lead the estimating team towards company goals
• Provide training and support to project team members.
• Coordinate with Operations and other estimators for client deliverables.
• Offer cost expertise to clients and design team for decision-making.

As an Estimator, you will :

• Communicate efficiently with subcontractors/suppliers for proposals, VE, and RFIs.
• Estimate for Construction Management projects, including budgeting, value analysis, and client communication.
• Review bid documents, perform quantity take-offs, and generate RFIs.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of estimating experience in multifamily new construction
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of wood-framed apartment estimating processes
• Familiarity with construction processes and estimating software
• Experience with Sheerwall is a plus

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in bidding and estimating multifamily projects, including:

• Garden-style, mid-rise, student housing, and HUD developments
• Experience with complex projects involving concrete podiums and sitework
• Comfortable in a schedule-driven environment
