Salary: ~$110K–$160K + bonus
Overview
An established specialty electrical contractor is in need of a skilled Project Manager to oversee intricate electrical construction and power-generation projects from initial estimation to finalization.
This role involves extensive interaction with clients and ownership of various project aspects, including scope, budget, schedule, safety, subcontractors, and project profitability.
Responsibilities
- Guide projects from proposal stage to project completion
- Assess RFQs, define scopes, and establish project budgets
- Supervise schedules, expenses, change orders, and project performance
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams
- Oversee on-site operations to ensure safety, quality, and profitability
- Assist in estimating and proposal creation
- Complete project closure activities and analyze lessons learned
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in power generation, industrial electrical, or specialty electrical construction
- 3–5+ years as a construction Project Manager with P&L responsibility
- Proven track record in managing complex electrical projects
- Strong skills in estimating, finance, and client management
- Preference for union construction experience
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it
- Engineering degree is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site
