Responsibilities:

As a member of the maintenance/reliability team at this Texas City refinery, the Maintenance Excellence Specialist will have various duties including managing day-to-day maintenance/reliability operations, assisting in the enhancement of maintenance/reliability strategies, and collaborating with on-site technicians and contractors. This role encompasses both fixed and rotating equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in refining, petrochemical, terminal, or a similar heavy industrial setting
• Thorough understanding of rotating equipment, fixed equipment, piping systems, and refinery maintenance procedures
• Proficiency in maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, contract maintenance resources, and CMMS systems
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management, lockout/tagout, and safe-work permitting
