Blood Draw Specialist

Seeking a Phlebotomist in Albany, NY and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday-Friday 730am-400pm, alternating Saturdays 7am-100pm.
Projected duration: 3 months + potential for perm

Summary:
Looking for a Phlebotomist to assist with various tasks, troubleshooting, and training
Experience with blood draws, labeling specimens, and updating patient information required
Collects, stores, and properly explains venipuncture process to patients
Checks and labels specimens accurately for transport
Stores and handles specimens properly according to regulations
Ensures compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations
Answers calls and addresses inquiries
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment
At least 6 months' experience in venipunctures in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
High School Diploma or GED needed
