We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Director to manage a high-volume warehouse and fulfillment center in the New Brunswick/Edison, NJ region. This leadership position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, financial performance, customer relations, and team development.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading large distribution, fulfillment, or multi-client 3PL operations and be comfortable with hands-on work as well as strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns

• Manage site financial performance, budgeting, labor costs, productivity, and revenue

• Develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and frontline teams

• Handle key customer relationships and resolve service issues

• Collaborate with sales and implementation teams on new customer onboarding

• Enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse utilization, workflow, and labor efficiency

• Utilize systems to improve operational performance and visibility

• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance

• Drive continuous improvement, automation, process standardization, and cost reduction

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years in logistics, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, or 3PL

• Experience in senior-level operations leadership

• Track record of managing high-volume warehouses or multi-client facilities

• Direct P&L ownership with budgeting and cost control experience

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation

• Experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems

• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing customer relationships

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to balance service levels, safety, productivity, and profitability

• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus
