Product / Textile Designer – Bath

Location: New York, NY | In-Office | Full Time

The Opportunity

A renowned home decor company is in search of a creative Product / Textile Designer to contribute to various licensed and in-house brands within the bath and soft home product categories. This role involves hands-on design work, blending artistic vision with technical expertise throughout the product development process, from initial idea to final production.

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven team player with a firm grasp on soft home product design, manufacturing, and development. They should thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting, adept at handling multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and ranges for bath and soft home products
• Generate CADs, engineered placements, colorways, and repeat patterns
• Create trims, textures, embellishments, and product construction specifications
• Produce production-ready artwork and detailed tech packs for manufacturing partners
• Evaluate samples, strike-offs, and lab dips, overseeing revisions and approvals
• Work closely with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams
• Manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product design, textile design, or related field
• Previous experience with hard bath goods is advantageous
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre
• Experience developing production-ready artwork and repeat patterns
• Solid understanding of textiles and soft-goods construction
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of projects
• Comfortable managing multiple brands, projects, and seasonal timelines
