JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) in Columbia to lead the operations of all departments, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The Manager (PIC) will manage finances, communicate with the corporate office on various issues, and oversee the implementation of therapies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification: B.S or PharmD with NC Board of Pharmacy
• Essential: Strong interpersonal skills
• Essential: Excellent customer service and computer proficiency
• Essential: Business acumen
• Preferred: Three (3) years of clinical experience
• Preferred: Previous management experience
• Preferred: Experience in infusion therapy and sterile compounding
• Preferred: Sterile compounding training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations and company policies
• Ensure organization and maintenance of the pharmacy
• Act as a liaison between management and staff
• Interview, evaluate, and orient employees
• Uphold healthcare regulations
• Resolve departmental issues
• Implement company policies
• Participate in strategic planning
• Maintain knowledge of USP chapter
• Lead performance improvement process
• Review medication orders and patient progress
• Supervise compounding, packaging, and labeling
• Assist in training and orientation
• Participate in on-call rotation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• May involve lifting over 40 lb.
• May require use of latex products
