Our company is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Miami, FL. This role will involve overseeing complex projects in commercial building construction, offering technical guidance, collaboration with other engineering disciplines, and mentorship opportunities for junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes.

• Collaborate with various engineering teams to coordinate electrical designs.

• Provide onsite support during construction, review submittals, and address engineering inquiries.

• Lead electrical system design for large-scale commercial projects.

• Mentor junior engineers and assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.

Requirements

• Active PE license in Electrical Engineering.

• 10-15 years of experience in engineering design and project management for commercial MEP and fire protection systems.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and coordinate work across different disciplines.

• Proficiency in electrical calculations, construction documentation, technical specifications, and quality control.
