Process Pro

As a Process Pro in Cleveland, OH, you will be responsible for leading and achieving engineering excellence in various areas including safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost. This will involve analyzing plant data, collaborating with Operations and Maintenance personnel, and working with internal and external resources. Additionally, you will play a key role in continuous improvement and transformational activities, such as visual workplace implementation, problem-solving skills development, defect/waste reduction, and workforce engagement. Your ultimate goal will be to improve the team’s environmental, health, and safety performance by eliminating at-risk conditions and behaviors on site.

  • Establish and update production procedures, maintenance procedures, process/product control, and test data.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and processes.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts on the production line to reduce product lead time.
  • Conduct plant audits to ensure compliance and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Engage with vendors for project implementation and proposal discussions.
  • Lead and support the implementation and sustainability of 5S.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and other support organizations to facilitate problem-solving (root cause analysis) and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze process and production data to identify trends and ensure process stability.
  • Ensure product quality through analysis of raw materials, process reliability, in-process testing, and final product certification.
  • Partner with the organization to drive business success through process and equipment reliability and teamwork.
  • Improve variable cost productivity through process enhancements.
  • Develop trial plans and monitor/execute trials.
  • Address customer complaints by conducting thorough root cause and corrective action analysis.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate Capital Project Management Skills.
  • Exhibit a strong Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Be decisive and hands-on in your approach.
  • Show strong leadership skills and be an energetic self-starter.
  • Have exceptional analytical and technical expertise.
