HR Manager – Newark, OH

The successful candidate must possess a 4-year College Degree.

The Human Resources Manager oversees all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes at our manufacturing location in Newark, OH. They will support business needs and the implementation of company strategy and objectives. This role is responsible for driving engagement and supporting/creating initiatives for employees to contribute to a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

· Identify opportunities to enhance organizational capability and drive culture in line with business strategy.

· Analyze the gap between current and desired organization performance and implement actions to address it.

· Provide coaching and consulting to business leaders on effective performance management intervention.

· Offer guidance on employee relations issues.

· Serve as an advocate for employee communication.

· Direct HR and leadership team in their communication efforts.

· Provide guidance and direction to business leaders on human resource management policies, processes, and systems.

· Lead and direct the HR team.

· Attract applicants both externally and internally through social media, advertisements, job and career fairs, and networking.

· Collaborate with management to determine position requirements and develop desired qualifications for compensation evaluation.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements in all business processes.

· Promote ethical practices and adherence to company core values throughout the organization.

· Oversee site compensation programs and adherence to corporate compensation policies.

· Foster positive employee relations and employee engagement.

· Lead talent acquisition plans to meet short and long term business needs.

· Drive change management through collaboration and communication.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources professional experience.

· Ability to comprehend, create, interpret, and effectively communicate policies.

· Proven ability to influence and work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.

· Demonstrates discretion and can handle sensitive and confidential materials with sound business judgment.

· Knowledge of US employment laws and ability to apply legal concepts to practical situations.
