The Engineering Analyst position in Willoughby, OH requires a highly skilled professional who will contribute to the continuous improvement of safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost. Through the examination of plant data and collaboration with Operations and Maintenance personnel and internal and external resources, the Engineering Analyst will drive excellence in engineering and provide leadership in various areas.

• Create and uphold production procedures, maintenance procedures, process/product control, and test data.
• Participate in the development of new products and processes.
• Improve efficiency and reduce product lead time through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles on the production line.
• Conduct plant audits to ensure compliance and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors for project implementation and proposals.
• Assist in the development and sustainability of 5S.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions with Operations, Maintenance, and other support organizations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze process and production data to detect patterns and ensure process stability.
• Ensure product quality through analysis of raw materials, process reliability, in-process testing, and final product certification.
• Support business success through process and equipment reliability and teamwork.
• Drive cost productivity through process improvements.
• Design trial plans and oversee their execution.
• Reduce customer complaints by conducting thorough root cause and corrective action analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage capital projects.
