Sales Rep

We are currently seeking Sales Representatives for our expanding Healthcare client. These positions are available in various locations across the United States, including Long Island City, NY.
As a Sales Representative, you will have direct interaction with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and families transitioning from these facilities. Your main responsibility will be to drive lead generation and move-ins to senior living communities. To succeed in this role, you must be highly motivated, eager to establish relationships with healthcare professionals, and persistent in finding effective strategies to grow your book of accounts. Ultimately, your efforts will help more families find the care they need.
Responsibilities

  • Operate in a fast-paced, dynamic industry by assisting families in quickly finding suitable senior care options as they transition from hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
  • Achieve monthly quota by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your assigned accounts
  • Expand your book of accounts and increase referral volume in your designated territory
  • Build new contacts within each account through networking, cold calling, and service presentations
  • Follow up with referral sources to reinforce the value our company provides
  • Educate families on their care options and collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to find the most suitable senior living option
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to ensure families successfully move into a community or hire in-home care services
  • Participate in pilot initiatives, tests, and processes to improve our tools and resources

Qualifications

  • Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess at least three years of experience in outside sales
  • Demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales quotas and working collaboratively with other teams
  • Show proficiency in delivering presentations to target customers and overcoming objections
  • Thrive in an independent, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
  • Have a strong desire to learn and improve, with a competitive mindset
  • Be able to travel locally within your assigned territory (5 days a week)
  • Exhibit effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate excellent time management abilities
  • Ideally, have prior experience in healthcare or hospital sales
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)

Additional Information

Schedule

  • As a Sales Representative, you will spend your workdays primarily in the field. You will collaborate with your Regional Director to develop your account plan each week, focusing on building, nurturing, and growing your accounts to meet monthly targets
  • Your fieldwork will involve scheduled presentations, calls, and impromptu drop-ins to meet with case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and patients who are being discharged
